Rain+Halloween

You've planned for months what you're going to do on Halloween. You've picked out costumes and mapped out trick-or-treat routes. The big day comes and it RAINS! Your plans are ruined and it's bound to be a terrible time for your children.

WAIT!! You don't have to miss out on all the fun! You can have an AWESOME Halloween even though it is raining and storming!

This year Halloween was a bust. We were under tornado watches and the rain was coming down HARD! We couldn't disappoint our children so we decided to do Halloween in reverse!

I partnered up with my sweet friend to plan a night of fun that the kids would be talking about for a while!

We bought approved Halloween treats. This is the best part y'all. We aren't big sweet eaters and do not allow our kids to eat much candy, ever. Plus little red is dairy free which basically means he can have no candy. To make life even more simple, I ordered all my treats from #Walmart using their grocery pick up! Score for quick and easy!

After buying all the treats we were ready for the big night of trick-or-treating.

We placed the dads in one room and had the kids walk up to the door, knock, say trick-or-treat, and the dads placed candy in their baskets. Sounds incredibly easy, right? The dads kept switching from room to room in the house and the kids had the best Halloween ever!!

Quick recap:

1. Buy treats (use #Walmartpickup to make it easy peasy)

2. Divide treats up between bowls

3. Give each bowl to an adult.

4. Adult picks a room in the house.

5. Walk kids to room. Knock on door. Get treats.

6. Adults keep rotating from room to room until all candy is gone.

BOOM! Life changing fun! Enjoy this Halloween in Reverse!
